MONEY MAN an RVRS original ↗

He prints. He smiles. He doesn't ask why.

Money Man is the face of the money printer — a cheerful tycoon who genuinely believes more printing fixes everything, including too much printing.

He satirizes dollar debasement across RVRS projects: when dollars print like board-game money, somebody has to be drawn cranking the handle. His only line of dialogue: brrr…

$ brrr… $ $ $

Who he is

Money Man is an original RVRS character — a fat-cat central banker archetype in a top hat, monocle and walrus mustache. He is smug, cheerful and completely oblivious. He never worries, never doubts, and never stops cranking. He alludes to the board-game-tycoon everyone recognizes, but he is our own drawing with his own name, and he never borrows anyone's board, logo or trade dress.

He exists to make one argument visual: a currency that can be printed without limit is board-game money. Wherever RVRS writes about debasement — the Sell the Dollar book, its card on rvrs.ai — Money Man is there, printing.

The poses

The Print — canonical. Side stance, crank in hand, printer going brrr.
The Portrait — bust for avatars, stamps and covers.

The Shower — arms up under the rain he made himself.

How he's built

Flat vector shapes, no gradients, no outlines. The face is two dots, a monocle and a mustache — no mouth, the mustache does the acting. Head is a circle (r 26 on a 320 canvas), the body an egg-shaped rounded rectangle with no neck, arms are single thick round-capped strokes with circle hands. Bills are 38×20 rectangles that never sit straight. Backgrounds are banknote cream with faint engraved circles.

  • He is “Money Man”, an RVRS original. Never call him by any board-game name; never use anyone's board, logotype or trade dress.
  • He never speaks. The printer speaks: brrr… (Georgia italic).
  • He is the punchline, not the hero. Smug, cheerful, oblivious.
